Don't get me wrong with these videos for I never for a second blame the soldiers on the ground.
I blame the politicians and industrial complex that breads this.

If you see a soldier on the street stop and thank him/her as the mess is not their fault and remember all those that fought in both world wars for our freedom.
The hero's are not just those that came home but those that never saw that home again.

Sorry I come from a strong military family and I have great respect for those in the service.

I wouldn't serve in a war, unless this country was being invaded. That is not the issue: It is not in their financial interests to have peace. You can't sell weapons if there are no wars. I think that was a factor in why Kennedy was killed, one, of many.

I see my nations navy (all three ships ) is now involved in international war games again. We have not been involved in one since we started our anti nuclear weapons stand in the 1980's ... The current national government would so love to rip that bit of legislation up I can tell you, but if they did that the people would have them hanging by their heals from a lamppost before the day was out.

That is fortunate. The soulless politicians speak of freedom, democracy, and patriotism. Let’s face it. The Iraq war had nothing to do with freedom and democracy. It was all about controlling the vast oil reserves. We put Saddam Hussein in power, and really didn’t care what he did, as long as he played by the rules. All the industries that profit from war do so at enormous expense, the expense of unimaginable human suffering and death. Greed and corruption have spiraled out of control. If there is no value in human dignity and freedom, none of it has any meaning or purpose.
