Watch this drone stun a man - Video - Technology
what if one day YOU are minding your own bussness and suddenly shots ring out you are dead killed by a drone...
drones can go anywhere and spy on YOU and me. I can picture a day when I am showering in my 2nd floor tub when I see a drone hovering outside.. It CAN happen..I am a simple derby girl not a tin foil hat wearing nut..BUT I fear for what Drones represent...

That's what these are for...

I run #4 shot in my shotguns. It's slightly smaller that the balls in a BB gun.

You get far better dispersion and hit ratio than buckshot, but far better penetration than birdshot.

Pardon my ignorance , what is this? A standard pistol that takes carts or an actual shot-gun. Is it any good for anything or is a home defense type thing? What's the range?

they look like 410 cartridges, 410s are poachers/garden pest shotguns, i had a 410 adapter for 12 gauge chambers, for ratting inside barns/cow house's/grain storage units etc, doesnt look like that pistol has a long enough chamber for those cart's.

That is a pistol manufactured by Taurus International. It can shoot both .410 shotgun shells, or .45 pistol rounds.

The range depends on which round you are shooting. Demonstration here...

The Box O' Truth #41 - The Taurus Judge Vs. The Box O' Truth - Page 1

People think shotguns spread out pellets into a wide pattern, but they really do not at typical self-defense ranges of 2 - 20 feet. With the short barrel on this weapon, you get a much larger pattern than with a traditional shotgun. That characteristic would be great for knocking down a mini-drone that was pestering you.

For the enterprising young lad, a Net Gun would actually be more beneficial.

I would love for these drones to enter my airspace.

The controller boards, batteries, and motors fetch very good prices on Craigslist and Ebay.

Problem is anyone can buy a small drone. Modify it in any way they want. My wife's fear of a drone filming her in the shower may not be so far fetched.

A real can of worms is in the offing. Do we have the legal right to shoot at a privacy invading drone over our property? Even if justified, discharging firearms in populated areas is bad form. On the other hand, why should anyone have the right to harass you from the air? And maybe worst of all--do law enforcement authorities have the to invade your "airspace" ? What a mess.

Of course, there are drones and there are drones. The really sophisticated stuff, you'll probably never see from the ground anyway.

I used to have a 410 shotgun. They're about right for rattlesnakes. Just don't plan on bringing down anything very large or very far away with one.

...discharging firearms in populated areas is bad form.

Not for self-defense, with appropriate caution. If I feel a drone presents a threat to my safety, I will not hesitate to shoot it down.

I enjoyed this video of hockey fans in Los Angeles taking down a drone. I feel sorry for the person who lost $1,300 worth of drone, but it was stupid of them to fly it so dangerously close to people.

We're going into Kurzweil territory here, any intrusive claim they make. Fuck you NSA, and you dude reading it right now. 1984 is probably very real right now."Ah, those nutters"...go ,,|,, yourself. That, or I take this message board way to seriously . ;)

The problem is never advancing technology. The problem is always whether basic moral principles are abided.

Example: The problem is not that the ability to electronically amplify the volume of music came into existence. The problem is that people violate the basic rights of others by playing music too loud. Same with drones.

I do understand that people hate talking about morality.

THEY'RE HERE...

DRONE HIGH ALTITUDE AIRCRAFT CARRIERS (It's not the Navy!)

FOR DRONE & SPECIAL WEAPONS LAUNCHING AND SPYING...

What's worse than drones is the Cloaked Air Platform Eye In the Sky. There will soon be these extremely high resolution "above the weather" light-air platforms that can peer down to image a whole city or region in real time 24/7. The high resolution Air Platforms will see through all weather conditions, and, just imagine, the other kinds of devices that could be used or launched from these Aircraft Carriers in The Sky! Yes, drone launching, and other weapons of control such as stun weapons, audio projection targeted to individuals, and 3d Holograms to create UFO's or Bigfoot Mr. Policeman on your lawn.

These are EXACTLY what those High Altitude UFO Triangle Light-Air Craft are designed for now! These have been in development since the 1970's and are coming to your 1984 region soon! These are cloaked and hidden high in the Sky "anchored" above the weather. My best guess is that these UFO Triangles are already in use above NYC and DC... and others are "on standby" to be moved to threat areas or expand into other high density populated areas as more are put into use.
