The Future Doesn't Hurt. Yet

Free episodes:

This is another article where someone recognizes that there are Earth changes taking place and wants to help. He's lucky to have the money from his book sales to do that with. So at least he's no hypoocrite. But in his position it's easy to preach down to the masses. Most of us folk down here in the city barely have enough income to keep the lights on and food on our table. In fact most of us are up to our neck in debt. So it's not all luxury and self-involvement. It's a different kind of jungle and a different kind of survival. Most of the predators aren't animals, but other humans in positions of power and control, bad bosses, politicians, corrupt corporate CEOs and gangland thugs. It's not all easy. If life were only as simple as donating the royalties from our best sellers while we hung out in a meadow watching the glaciers melt ... sigh.

While I think earth changes happen with or without humans I also understand, that humans leave a profound footprint wherever we go. Interesting article and the description of the moutains and the serenty make me envious in some ways. However, I am an unrepentent carnivoure so I can't stop eating tasty animals. I don't eat veal and I do prefer free range but it's expensive and harder to get. The other thing that struck me is my own mindset. This person is a scientist and a monk yet it is the monk's descriptioin that caught and held my attention. But, that is just my own rambling thoughts. Agree or disagree or somewhere in the middle it's still a good article and worth the read.
