Paranormally Disenchanted
I present to you a video that has it all: Religion, UFOs, doomsday predictions, disclosure, cover-ups, an L. Ron Hubbard quote, racism, and last but not least funny hats.

Well, that's a lot to take in!

Watch the video at around 03:15 for a short while. One man behind the speaker looks like a bodyguard, the other looks like a dumb dis-interested cousin brought along to make up the numbers. Guess which is which? lol

The speaker is of course Louis Farrakhan. Does it sound like he is talking about something straight out of Vallee's Messengers of Deception, i.e. a UFO cult?

I noticed that as well. The man in the hat in the background is scanning the crowd (looking at hands I image) and the other fellow eye's actually appears to be unfocused at one point. I bet you they all are packing heat. At around 8 or so you see a third man on the left. He is scanning the crowd as well. I imagine real security is pretty heavy around the podium.

I don't think it is a UFO cult - it is very strange how he interprets the Japan airlines Alaska sighting. I could not really follow where/who built this large UFO and where did he get the '1500 bombers' thing? It's not part of the UFO report to my knowledge!
Cult yes, UFO cult no - I think he is using anything and everything he can to make whatever very obscure point he is making. I don't really know what the whole speech was intended to convey. I actually found it poignant and quite sad to hear the kind of 'amen' and 'yeah' comments form the audience who seem to just act like Pavlov's dogs. They respond on queue regardless of the idiocy of the speaker. And yes, either the speaker is an idiot or is deliberately using any means to perpetuate whatever brand of whatever religion he claims to represent.
I can't make head nor tail of it! But I'm glad I watched!

So we are agreed on the bodyguard thing. What about the dumb cousin then? :p

"Not only is there an amazing willingness in the human mind to invest credence and faith in unproven facts, but there is more evil, more readiness than ever on the part of various sophisticated groups, to use this human weakness as a tool in controlling others."
Jacques Vallee - Revelations

In this video, the speaker claims the founder of the religion was arrested for the statements he was making about The Mother Wheel/Plane after The Battle of Los Angelos in 1942.

This speaker is attempting to validate the truth of teachings of his religion through the existence of UFOs. His explanation seems to be "God is ET on a UFO" kind of thing.

Here Farrakhan explains the situation to Jamie Maussan.

I have some respect for Jaime in his giving UFO videos such status in Mexico. His willingness to get behind all and any video however does him a severe disservice.

So this may be the exact opposite of the subject of Nick Redfern's latest UFO book - the one blaming real demons. This Farrakhan guy is on the same track, different rail though if his UFOs are from god and not the devil?

Its one of the issues i have with religion, as per Redferns "final events"

Using outdated superstition to explain something best left to science and critical thinking , is embarrasing.
You cant make contact with any sort of parity, if one of the parties is looking at the event through a supertitious filter.

A cargo cult is a religious practice that has appeared in many traditional pre-industrial tribal societies in the wake of interaction with technologically advanced cultures. The cults focus on obtaining the material wealth (the "cargo") of the advanced culture through magic and religious rituals and practices. Cult members believe that the wealth was intended for them by their deities and ancestors. Cargo cults developed primarily in remote parts of New Guinea and other Melanesian and Micronesian societies in the southwest Pacific Ocean, beginning with the first significant arrivals of Westerners in the 19th century. Similar behaviors have, however, also appeared elsewhere in the world.

Cargo cult activity in the Pacific region increased significantly during and immediately after World War II, when the residents of these regions observed the Japanese and American combatants bringing in large amounts of material. When the war ended, the military bases closed and the flow of goods and materials ceased. In an attempt to attract further deliveries of goods, followers of the cults engaged in ritualistic practices such as building crude imitation landing strips, aircraft and radio equipment, and mimicking the behavior that they had observed of the military personnel operating them.

Over the last sixty-five years, most cargo cults have disappeared. However, some cargo cults are still active

Excellent observation! I had not made that connection. You make an excellent point. It's comical in its horrendous ridiculousness.

Farrakhan says he is connected to The Wheel and it follows him with its holy bomber squadron. Many people mistake Vallee's Messenger's of Deception title as applying to UFOs themselves. It does not. It refers to the people and organizations that use the UFO imagery and mystic to manipulate the actions and beliefs of others. Louis Farrakhan has to be one of the largest public figures with a following that fits that bill right now. UFOs and UFO imagery play heavily into the belief system he promotes. I think it is undeniable, this is a UFO centered religion in the most classic sense of the word.
