A series of excerpts from an 11 1/2 hour long interview I conducted with Stan Friedman on September 12 and 13, 2001, is being posted over the next week or so at www.redstarfilms.blogspot.com - you can also find it at www.tosot.podbean.com.

In this segment, Stan talks about how he discovered the Roswell case, and gives a breakdown of why he thinks it was the crash of two alien spacecraft in 1947.

In this episode, Stan talks about two Roswell “witnesses” who proved to be lying - Frank Kaufmann, who was supported for many years by Kevin Randle, but not Stan, and Gerald Anderson, who was supported by Stan but not Randle. The story of these two researchers, and these two “witnesses”, is emblematic of what the late Karl Pflock called “the will to believe” when it comes to the Roswell incident.

Once I'm finished the Friedman series, I'll be delving further into the Redstar archives from the hundreds of hours of interviews I've conducted for films with UFO researchers over the years. Along the way, he also takes a few shots at Karl Pflock, Colonel Richard Weaver, Captain Sheridan Cavitt, and Robert Todd, for reasons which I think are pretty clear, and which I address in my introduction.

Hi Paul,
Excellent interviews ;)and good to hear a constructive conversations by a open minded Academic Stan Friedman;) who has tried to give this crazy field ufology some decent professional constructive arguments which seems to me there's no right answers just lots of different perspective and I would loved to have seen Stan Friedman and Mac Tonnie's debate on all aspects of their creative minds:D
