We're off the UFO train this week as we introduce Lyle Blackburn for an episode that we'll be recording on Thursday, February 13.

According to his bio at Lyle Blackburn: author, cryptozoologist, musician "Lyle Blackburn is an author, musician, and cryptid hunter from Texas. His books, "The Beast of Boggy Creek" and "Lizard Man," reflect his life-long fascination with legends and sighting reports of real-life 'monsters.' During his research, Lyle has often explored the remote reaches of the southern U.S. in search of shadowy creatures said to inhabit the dense backwoods and swamplands of these areas.

"Lyle is also a staff writer and cryptozoology advisor to RUE MORGUE magazine, one of the leading horror media publications in print today."

1) I saw the Legend Of Boggy Creek film as a young kid and it scared the crap out of me, especially during the home in invasion sequence. From then on I would always know Sasquatch to be a violent monster. Would you characterize the Fouke monster as a specifically violent creature who attacks humans?

2) When the Ford brothers encounter the creature on their porch in 1971 they claim to have shot at and hit it multiple times, yet no blood was found. This is often reported in Bigfoot sightings with shootings. Do you give any credence to the idea of the Fouke monster being some type of shape shifting ultraterrestrial?

3) The Fouke monster is unique for its three toed impressions. Did the earlier Jonestown monster that the Fouke monster is connected to also leave behind three toed prints? Are you aware of any examples of other three toed Sasquatch footprints?

I have a couple questions regarding the Lizard Man Sightings in S.C.

1.) In the case of the Lizard Man, how many credible witnesses did Lyle speak with? From what I understand this occurs all over Lee County. I have read probably 25 reports from people that definitely had some kind of experience.
2.) Christopher Davis supposedly found a shed, similar to sneak skin, several years after the initial sighting. Does Lyle have any info on this? Does he believe the shed even exists?

People claim to shoot these things sometimes multiple times, and also claim to hit it, as a investigator / hunter what is his point of view on this, it must be frustrating as hell, but if they claim to hit it with a bullet and there is no blood and no effect one must ponder that these creatures if real are non biological or visually present but physically not ?

Sorry I am long term fan of the show but not sure if this is how the questions will be asked of the guests while on air can someone please give me a run down on this as I did not see a live chat feature on the site.

Thanks Aussie
