That was an unsettling story! When I first heard this it reminded me of that case a few years back where a canadian man was murdered and devoured on a greyhound bus by his seatmate...and if you didn't get to it yet, chris mentions it in his book...ironically the victim was from winnipeg, the source you used to post this story.I'M going to chalk that one to synchonicity and it's going in my book as such.

In as much as your theory on pcp could be right, in the case of Vince Weiguang...see link below...it came down to being diagnosed with schizophrenia It kinda makes me hope that drugs were behind the attack you posted because it's scary to think a simple brain disorder could result in such incidents, because they could go off at any time. I don't know if there is any science behind this next statement but it seems to me that a drug induced person can be identified and avoided, the mentally ill people can just snap and be on top of you before you draw your next breath.

The spooky mulder in me wonders whatever the trigger (artificial or natural mental impairment) I wonder attacks like these aren't the result of some hidden gene (or lack of one) which under the right conditions can bring it to the forefront a behavior that is normally recessed. Thanks for the post Stoney, I was thinking of doing this one myself and I got sidetracked
