When Michio Kaku says a type 3 civilization gets its energy from an entire galaxy, you almost want to say he's crazy. The scale is stupefying and probably would scare the hell out of any young earth creationist LOL

I think there are problems with the Kardashev Scale, but one thing we can at least be sure of is that there are no T3 civilizations in our galaxy. Perhaps that's what dark matter is, all the galaxies that are dark because their energy has been all sucked out by T3 civilizations.
