I'm sad to report on the death of long-time UFO researcher Lucius Farish after a long illness. I knew him years ago, when he ran a UFO news clipping service that allowed many of us to keep tabs on the goings on in the field.
According to one of his many, many friends, Jerry Blackburn, "Since Lou did not have a wife, children or siblings, he left his estate, including 80 acres of land, to a trust to be used to encourage UFO research and education through awards, fellowships and mini-grants over the next several years."
I await further word on how these awards will be managed and, perhaps, how researchers may apply for them.
