Hey David and Gene,

Let me cast my vote for the following guests - Mac Tonnies, Nick Redfern and Greg Bishop. Or, better yet, a state-of-the-weirdness roundtable about the paranormal with the three of them! Just a thought. :)

Paul,

Tell you what - you send out the emails to those guys - we've never had Bishop on - and we'll do it. You'll have to join us, of course!

I remember reading somewhere that Gene and Bishop had some issue? Thats the reason he was never on?

I refuse yo believe Gene could have an enemy. Dudes too nice!

Gene: Not trying to get David in trouble here, but this is what I read -

Well, there's some sort of bad blood between Gene & Greg, which I'm not privy to - I tried to contact Greg about coming on the show a couple of times, he's responded by telling me to talk to Gene about it, and otherwise ignoring me. Perhaps Gene can offer some insight...

The only reason I know about this post is because I recently did a search for Greg Bishop + Paracast because I was sure he had been on the show. I ended up finding that thread.

Fair enough. Chalk it up to another case of lost data because of the sterile medium of message board communication.

It's strange when you find people talking about you, and they have a lot of things partly or completely wrong.

I have no problem with Gene, I haven't ever communicated with him.
I never received an email from anyone asking about Gene (at least I don't remember this happening.)
No, I'm not working for the CIA (although I could use the money right now :p.)
I agree that I'm not very high on the UFO fan totem pole.
I'd be happy to be a guest on Paracast!

I was just quoting what I read! It was David's "joke".

Well I said many months ago that Greg Bishop may be the best guest the Paracast hasn't had on so far (Joseph Farrell would be equal to him in my book) ... and a reply from someone (don't remember who it was) said that Gene had a problem with him. It wasn't gone into further than that ... but it definitely was stated that way.

Greg is the latest guest on Paratopia, and as always its a fascinating episode. Bishop's Radio Misterioso is a must listen to those who can (living in NZ makes it pretty much impossible for me to tune in when its on ... I always forget ... and its not put up for download very often ... grrr :D).

Very interesting comment about crop circles is made by Bishop ... and boy it makes corn circles much more interesting than I gave them credit for.

As always,

paraschtick

ps now I've read the rest of the thread:

Oi Spacebrother, please pull your bloody finger out and podcast your bloody programme more bloody often ... please ... if you wouldn't mind. Those of us living in far flung places (Christchurch, NZ in my case) can't tune into the programme live cos (1) we forget and (2) we have to figure out what time the bloody thing is on ... and then forget. So it would be awfully kind if you could, pretty please, put your prog up for download more often ... if you wouldn't mind :D. Many trillions of thanks in advance ... paraschtick
