Tonight on Dark Matters Radio, I run an interview I conducted with legendary UFO author/researcher Richard "Dick" Hall. Dick passed on in July of 2009 and is sorely missed. Only on CyberstationUSA starting at 10:00 PM Pacific Time!

Another great show with a well known researcher in the early days of ufology!

If I'm correct Don, while replaying this interview you mentionned that you plan to have Ann Druffel soon to talk on among other things about James Mc Donald. I definitely look forward to hear this one! James Mc Donald was one of the rare scientists who was not afraid to dwelve into this subject and speek publicly about it. I feel his contributions to the field are unfortunately not kown as they should be. Everyone knows Hynek but actually back at the time, I believe James Mc Donald was pushing things a lot more actively and with some real intellectual honesty, whereas Hynek was merely debunking every sighting at that time and changing his stance only after his contract with the air force ended. The field would certainly not have been the same has James Mc Donald not disappeared so abruptly.

Ann Druffel did a wonderful and incredible job in writing his biography during the time he was researching ufos, which also stands as a tribute to this man and his fearless endeavor.

I have always felt McDonald was not given enough respect due him. He was truly fearless. Hynek, in my opinion, had a lot to answer for .. which he never did, with regards to his bootlicking while working for the AF.

Well, like the man said, these days ... water under the bridge.
