Tonight on DMR .. Gene Steinberg

Free episodes:

put his feet to the coals, this B**tard needs a right grilling! He is a disgrace to octogenarians everywhere. (apparently he keeps everyone awake at the old folks home with his tales of flying discs and advances in computer technology). Do us all a favour Don and knock this guy out!!!

We have to do the segues in one form or another. Don's show isn't under the severe constraints in terms of breaking a segment as we are. The GCN network (and most of the other radio networks that distribute to traditional stations ) employ a computer system to insert ads, and so we have to hold each segment to within 1/10 of a second of their network schedule. We can't just say hold the break a few seconds so we can finish. It doesn't happen.

I wasn't really commenting on that gene, the fact that we get to listen to your shows for free...thus far...is not lost on me.what I was jiving on, in a kidding way I hope, was your uncanny ability to go out by riffing on the last thing that was said before you break for commercials!

P.S. Listened to the show last night and don's mention of don coscarelli's movies, he is a customer of mine and I guess you could say friend, he has another movie in the can and got a showing @ sundance which is pretty cool. I guess right now he's looking for distribution and/or financing. I'll keep you updated if you're interested

hey spooky, if you see Don Cos tell him thanks for the Phantasm movies, have a real soft spot for them and all his work. peace

kewl. i came to the phantasm series late. really liked the indie film making invention and the way it matured. PHANTASM 5 if done well would be a send off it richly deserves.
cheers Spooks
