I was just listening to this interview and found it fascinating.I post a link below in a minute.

Travis in part of the interview, said the movie made about his encounter "Fire in the sky" was the Hollywood version of his experience. Travis, in his description of the small beings also during this interview, "seems to me", to be different to the typical "Greys" described in popular culture, and by people who have claimed encounters with alien beings, typically the Greys.

So just for that reason alone, the interview is worth listening to.

I Post links, to other shows only, when i believe the interview is worthy of listening to. So i hope Gene and David, don't mind?

Not AJs best interview IMO. She really needs to get out of the habit of asking leading questions.

Old habits die hard...

Wrt the Walton case, I think one of the most important, telling aspects of the case is the appearance of Nordic type beings after the confrontation between Travis and the original entities he encountered.

What it tells us (IMO) is that they can be whatever they need to be (in our "reality") to get the job done.

Thanks, Irish, for the link. I've never read Walton's book or seen the movie, but the case has always intrigued me. In the interview, something was discussed that I had not heard before, and it makes a lot of weird things fall into place. Some, including Walton himself, think he might have been picked up because he was injured accidentally when he got too close. Suddenly a lot of things make sense. Interesting story, and a good possibility for a guest on the Paracast. As I recall, Walton does few interviews. Who can blame him, especially since he seems to have been able to lead a fairly normal life since his fifteen minutes of fame.

I have always looked at UFO cases from the outside, and listened to interviews only about the cases. Recently, i have began looking at certain cases more deeply like Lazar, Walton, and the Betty and Barney encounter. The cases of Betty and Barney and Travis, seem to involve small beings, and Travis case had Nordic type beings. I am finding other issues, with the Barney and Betty case, and see things in the case that maybe other people have not seen. Yes, he be an interesting guest, but we probably learn nothing from the case. Maybe, i am wrong?

I had a listen to this interview thanks Irishseekers. Travis Walton comes across as quite genuine and I got a gut feeling that he is being sincere and honest. He sounds genuinely fatigued with some aspects of it and also still quite spooked - particularly when he talks about the beings eyes. He did say that in the film they went for a different look for the beings which didn't resemble what he saw. I don't see how this whole story could be hoaxed. Anyone read the book?

No problem, Kerouac. I watched documentary's on Travis, and read stuff online about the case, but nothing is better than hearing the case from the person who actually had the encounter. I think, we got a little more insight into this encounter, then previously..
