I'm skeptical about this. A tabloid is what first dealt with it. Without sunlight and water how would it grow?

A seed does not need sunlight to get initiated - which is why they sow into soil or animal turd to begin propagation. The level of nutrients in lung tissue is adequate to faciliate growth - and there is plenty of water there as well.

This is a rare event, but one which I will acknowledge as truth.

My uncle had to go to a doctor to have a blade of grass that had taken root removed from his ear.
I've read of another case where an old woman went to the doc with a vine growing from her "virginny." She had apparently forgotten about a potatoe she left up there and it started growing.

In school they gave us a lima bean to put under our tounge for the day.
at the end of the day it was starting to sprout. I think that was 6th grade.
But no one inhaled it. lol
