Chinese lanterns again? I suspect so, but who knows? Perhaps Mr. Gravitiology finally got some of his tin cans off the ground.

Doesn't sound or feel like Chinese lanterns to me. It sounds too controlled for that. Oh well only got this article to go on at the moment. Might do a search and see if there are any developments on the story.

Whatever it/they was I spent some time last night watching the skies waiting for an armada of whateveritwas to pass overhead. All to no avail of course ... :D

After reading the article, that would my initial guess as well. There isn't enough to go on from the article alone, and considering the number of objects sighted (The article said up to 50), I would place Chinese Lanterns at the top of my list. Considering the fact also that this sighting took place in the skies of Britain, I'm highly skeptical. I don't know why, but taking into account the strength of the UFO craze over there and with man-made crop circles on the forefront, I'm always more than willing to look at a purely human agent in cases over there.
