In theory, a hacker could have placed the porn on his computer, but why would anyone conspire against Romanek. He's not that important, and his UFO tales are not a threat to anyone.

I seem to recall an episode of "Fact or Faked" where they thoroughly demonstrated how stupid the alien in the window video was, and how easy it was to fake.

1. There's no need for the government to frame him. He's been debunked time and time again. The peeping tom alien is not the only hoax he's been associated with. He has no reputation and thus there is no need to silence him.

2. I'm more upset about certain big names in the UFO field who came out in his defense. Even people on UFO Watchdogs's "Hall of Fame" came out supporting and still support him to this day. The "golden boy" of Ufology went on a radio program admitting his friendship with Stan and suggested he believed he was framed. I'm seriously tempted to out this individual because he's been praised left and right and does this stuff and even more than I won't even get into here.

Chris and Gene actually nailed this pretty thoroughly on the Paracast last year concerning this trend. It was the 3rd Phase show. Your beef within my mind at this point is extremely evident, and within what is loosely termed Ufology, there is simply no room for trust. Been burned too many times. I can easily list at least 5 very renowned authors/researchers/investigators that have pursued the matter to a marked financial drum beat as opposed to the once noble cause reflected as hindsight embittered motives. Not healthy.

What's missing from Ufology is one of the most daring and ever present stumbling blocks in all of human progress. Balance of initiative.

You want healthy Ufology? Get rid of what went down in 1845. It destroyed any real hope for the immediacy of real technical facilitation, and instead substituted it's own self comforting form of artificial immediacy. The measurably definable. That's what happens when youth runs away with itself. More of that, who you know, and not what you know stuff.

Beyond the measurable awaits the science of consciousness. Wherein you will find the natural, native domain, of the UFO intelligences. Our understanding of them may begin as it did with us prior to the human concept of time itself. With the act of controlled observation.
