I feel sure I had to have missed a thread already talking about this episode, cause it was a doozy. I suggest you watch it before reading this, for pure entertainment value if nothing else. The last few episodes were pretty well handled, so I kinda figured maybe they were starting to listen to the complaints about the show… Not so much.
First off; George Knapp I recall being on the Paracast, and i seem to remember him seeming and being deemed as trustworthy and level-headed about the whole UFO, Bob Lazar and A51 thing. He always seemed to present the facts rather than give any opinion on them, you know, like a real news anchor. But in this episode he was asked by Burns if he believed Bob Lazar's story, and he said “I do”. I recall Richard Dolan also saying that he believed Lazar's story and me asking The Paracast to ask Dolan about it. Did he ever get asked, or did he ever talk about it further? I also requested that The Paracast consider trying to get Lazar on the show, was he ever considered? He’s working on home-made Hydrogen car systems now ya know.
Back to the show...So this episode they have this brilliant plan to go to Area 51 and film it and the skies around it in high definition, and you know, climb Tickaboo mountain (the famous best viewpoint of area 51). Yeah, so if the government really is hiding UFO technology at Area 51, no way would they be monitoring the crew of a History Channel show called 'UFO HUNTERS' when they fly out to the closest airport to it! And them hiking up the mountain and stopping to light a fire at its base and then climbing it with flashlights wouldn't have caught the attention of the surveillance equipment of the most top secret base on the planet! (slaps forehead) Ohhh, that's right, they might have taken a picture of his face when the day before he waltzes right up to the perimeter sign and stares down a Camo Dude!
No wait, there's more! A highly reputable pilot who flew for the CIA and whose father was a famous pilot that invented a jet was on the show! He said “I saw a UFO”, and he shows how it’s propelled by a slice of cheese that pulls space toward them and wraps it around their ship. No mention of the fact that he is now famously known to be a complete pathological nutjob of course, even by the one whom he’s talking about (Lazar). With his credentials though, I feel sure they did something to him. <o>
</o> I have to also mention the part where Pat acts like he didn’t know what the Janet was when he saw it, priceless. He shouldn’t be doing this show if he really didn’t know what it was, which he did of course, but funny stuff. <o>
</o> But all that aside, they did get some cool video of the base which I was surprised they had the nuts to do. And T.D. Barn’s info was also interesting. <o>
</o> Say what you will, but this was all entertaining to watch. My vape might have helped a bit though. <o></o>
