That's about 15 miles from me, and about 1 or 2 miles from where I work. I hope they weren't looking for me...if so they should recalibrate their GPS, or update the disc.

I didn't hear anything about it at all, to be honest. This particular area is pretty well saturated with passenger jets landing and taking off from Dulles International Airport (IAD.)

Interesting video. Very deep blue in color...no white strobe light either. I saw the story linked on Druge last week. No news yet as to what it was?

A remote controlled glider that moves back and forth, then goes straight up?
The back and forth I can understand if it was a glider. It's circling.
But going up?

A good operator can do loops and rolls. This is by no means definitive, but the youtube video shows how agile these things are with a good operator. Something to ponder. Cermark Breeze rc glider loops rolls
