Hey everyone, it's my first post here so don't hit me if it's in the wrong place, or an obvious fake. Anyhoo, just came across (not literally) this video of a supposed UFO vid in my home town supposedly filmed over the weekend and thought I'd share...

I'm not gonna make a judgement, but I will say I live down the road from the place it was filmed and didn't see anything...

EDIT: (damn it, just realised there's a thread all about triangles, guess is it in the wrong place after all. Oops!)

Hey monkelus, welcome! nah this forum is cool for UFOs of any sort.

To me it looks like a real object in reality. I get suspicious when youtube videos are unnecessarily short. Theres no reason the video couldnt have kept rolling after the object disappeared behind the houses. So thats the first problem.

Also it looks like it could either be something you throw or a remote controlled object?

Who knows. What do you think?

Welcome, Monkelus :). To me, it looks like a fairly small, remotely-controlled object, either a toy of some kind, or possibly even a police surveillance drone, or military drone. The size and shape suggests it's an unmanned (or unaliened) object.

Thanks for sharing.

I'd like to say it's bogus, but I'm hanging back and waiting for any more possible confirmation. I like Gareth's observations and have to agree with them. There is just too little information here from the witness to take it seriously.

I'm kinda feeling the same thing. I have little info on the video & less knowledge of video effects. But like I said, I do live down the road from the bloke who filmed it. If he's credible that'll lend weight to the video, if not, well that speaks for itself. I'll do a bit of snooping...

EDIT: quick snoop over.

The bloke who filmed it's CV - http://www.naymz.com/search/andrew/hadlington/1805757

'Interactive Designer / Graphic Artist / Programmer with 7 years experience creating gaming content for the internet and casino / SWP / Gambling industry. 10+ years experience in 3D animation and motion graphics, web and digital graphic design and 15+ years experience in computer programming (including Flash Actionscript 2/3,VB, PHP, HTML, CSS)'

HOAX!

Well that was fun:)

"HOAX!"

Well, not necessarily.

First off, you cannot preclude the possibility that even a computer graphic designer or CGI expert might have a genuine UFO experience (I believe that may apply to somebody here) and record it on camera.

Second, I have heard a persuasive and mundane (non-CGI) explanation for this particular incident. Another local witness came forward and reported that it was very windy in the area at the time and that a large sheet of carboard which had been used to protect part of her property from falling debris caused by building work on a neighbouring property had blown away. I believe that in one of his interviews the guy who made the video mentioned that the object looked flat, so quite possibly it was just a large sheet of cardboard blowing around in a high wind.

good digging job man, even if it is a legit object, your background check certainly lends to the thought that this is a hoax.
