The Northern Territory in Australia has a long history of UFO sightings that stretch back at least as far as the 50's. Much of the activity has been attributed to the US base situated near the town of Alice Springs called "Pine Gap". Pine Gap is often referred to as the Area 51 of Australia due to the desert landscape and recurring UFO sightings.
