UFOs entering water no splash

Watched the latest UFO Hunters episode on USO's.

Did anyone stay with the show long enough to see the "splash test?

What are your thoughts? Mine drifted to the remote.

UFO's entering water no spalsh

Who the hell watches that show?

For crying out loud... UFO SPLASH TESTS???

I swear to God, pretty soon you'll see Pat Uskert forced to wear an alien suit doing cannon balls off a high dive.

Well, does going out into shark infested waters in a kayak count? That's what he did this time, so you almost got it right!

The splash test 'proved' the opposite of their hypothesis, so their conclusion was that we don't know enough to replicate it. So, a disappointing conclusion--and they didn't get to go to Cuba either! Their Gulf Breeze segment did not really do justice to the issue either, though I always like listening to Dr. Maccabee, who is still aboard.

Here's a question.

What purpose does it serve for Pat Uskert to use a Kayak on the ocean? How does that objectively investigate how Flying Saucers can hit the ocean and not make a splash?

WHY WOULD ANYONE THINK THAT A KAYAKER ON THE OCEAN WOULD BE A GOOD ANALOG TO A FLYING SAUCER???

Probably the same sort of thinking where flying an airplane to re-trace the flight path of a supposed UFO would be a good idea.

I wish I could remove from my brain, every episode of UFO Hunters. That way I'd have less useless shit rolling around in my brain.

Here's an answer.

If you'd seen the episode, you'd know the two aren't related and the question is totally meaningless. Facts have a nasty habit of getting in the way of such questions. Uskert was NOT investigating UFO splashes, but attempting to verify a shark fisherman's claim of having seen green lights beneath the waves. Uskert thought perhaps this was just bio-luminesence. The fisherman claimed it wasn't at all the same, so once again, we are left with an enigma! Hmmmmm. Jump to 45 seconds on Gulf Breeze. Roll credits. Erase.

The whole scene had a false sense of danger to it. Something bumped Uskert's kayak. A shark! And he went missing. Maybe he tipped over and was eaten! What ever are we going to do? There he is! Run! Let's make sure he is all right!

It's entertainment. That's all. Anyone who takes this show seriously is crazy. But this is the only episode where Birnes doesn't wear his sunglasses. It was night, so you couldn't see his twitch. 8)

This Episode you're talking about, I think I may have seen previously. They've done the USO thing once before, and the notion of taking a kayak out on the ocean to investigate USOs is pretty retarded, considering that he could have rented a boat for about 15 bucks an hour. UFO Hunters is stupidity, given a Media Platform.

If I wanted UFO entertainment, I'd just rent a movie. Then again, it's no different than their magazine which is chocked full of new age nonsense, and other mind clutter.

It's a newer episode Tommy, not the USOs one they did before. The kayak thing was incredibly stupid though (which given the height of the bar they set, is saying something).

I found Macabee's support of the Gulf Breeze incident suspicious, like they edited the crap out of it to make him seem extremely accomodating. If not, I may have just lost respect for Bruce Macabee...

As for the "splash test", I don't think I've ever seen a more unscientific, impractical or pointless "experiment" in my life. A grade school science fair seems like a nobel-worthy thesis compared to this.

And plasma tunnels? PLASMA TUNNELS? PLASMA TUNNELS?!?

This "UFO Hunters" show has become an embarassment to the UFO subject. The reason I watch it is to catch any interesting witness testimonies (History Channel has an extensive library of stock footage).

WRT "splash", I've seen other History Channel episodes with witnesses from Japan, where UFOs supposedly created big wakes.

Anyway, the reason UFOs might create no big splash when entering/exiting water is probably the same why they create no big air disturbance when moving in the air. The most convincing explanation is the manipulation of medium (air/water) surrounding the UFO by some force field (I've written about this several times in previous posts).
