Wow skunkape those look really good (in my incredibly unprofessional opinion). I think I would be changing my underwear after I saw them...
 
I phrased that poorly. No , I didn't actually hit it with a rock. I could have if I wanted to, but I was way to busy looking for somewhere to hide. It came from the woods about 50 yards away and passed directly overhead within about 60 or 80 feet. I still have a hard time describing the appearance. It was like a cluster of ever-shifting extremely bright multi-colored lights. The object they were attached to seemed to be unfolding and folding back into itself. It wasn't possible to make out the overall shape with all the flashing. It was about 20 or 25 feet in size. There were two other witnesses but one had amnesia after the event. He could only vaguely recall "lights everywhere." I've had two other very clear sightings, but this was definitely the closest. I seriously thought the thing was land right on top of us.
 
It was in the summer of '95 I believe. One of the witnesses to this event was also with me at a sighting at Garner State Park the previous summer.
