I nominate Robert Dean for the Hall of Shame. Beyond all his ridiculous claims and endorsements of other charlatans, I find the 'grandfatherly' persona that Dean consciously plays up to be particularly shameful. There was a Paracast interview where Richard Dolan stated that he considered Dean highly credible. I understand that Dolan is very polite and has to work with a lot of these people on the conference circuit, but that was a disappointing moment. That being said, Dolan is a good guy.

I'm too lazy to deconstruct Dean, so let me just say that you can't believe a man with a ponytail, especially a gringo, and Bob Dean sports a ponytail.
