I have a serious question that may sound like I'm making a joke, but I'm not! Okay here goes......
Lets assume for a moment that ghosts are real. Somebody proved their existence or they had a ghost press conference on CNN. Whatever, for the purposes of this conversation they ARE real.
We have heard stories of ghost sightings where the spirits are in period clothing, figures from the past, animals, vehicles, even dopplegangers. My question is this: Why does it seem that there is a cutoff point a to how far in the past we see ghosts from? Has anyone ever heard a story of a prehistoric man ghost sighting? Or a phantom T-rex? I have heard of plesiasaur sightings (nessie, champ, etc.) and sightings of dinosaurs of the flying variety (I won't attept to spell their names) but they seem to be cryptozoology rather than of the spirit world (maybe?). Anyone have any stories? Theories? Limericks?

There's sightings of dinosaurs, like brontosaurus' too still in parts of the planet. Mostly the Amazon I think. The reports are of solid creatures though, but some ghost sightings are of seemingly solid bodies.

No cavemen apparition reports come to mind, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are some.

I used it as my heading at an online dating site long ago. I then talked about clubbing women on the head for a first date etc.
must be a different joke

mine runs along these lines

3 missionarys are washed up on an island and captured by natives, the chief comes out and says to first man you have choice of death or "unga bunga". the first man thinks about it and deciding anything is better than death chooses unga bunga, therapon all the virile men of the village fall on him and pack rape his ass (note no donkeys were used or hurt in the telling of this joke).
leaving him bleeding from you know where and sobbing face first in the sand......

the second man is given same choice, and although hes seen the result decides hes not ready to die and grits his teeth........

the third man seeing his two companions bleeding from you know where and sobbing face down in the sand, decides hed rather die than face the humiliation...

i choose death he says defiantly.....

the chief pronounces "DEATH.............by unga bunga"

Yes, and prehistoric man ghosts. Have you ever seen one?

I like to think that humans have souls, therefore placing them in Heaven or Hell if you will..animals do not have souls therefore do not go to such places..therefore how can there be ghosts of animals? I don't know if i believe that one but I am open minded

I don't really believe in ghosts at all.

I do believe that when we do see them, it's nothing more than a glitch in our reality that allows us to see into the past or future.

It's why we have Bigfoot sightings, Loch Ness sightings, UFO sightings, all of that.

I blame the Hadron Super Collider.

That, and Tetris.

Believe it or not, apparently playing Tetris after a traumatic event, helps people forget about the event.

Saw it on the news today, as they're now thinking that giving our veterans video games to play that it might help them cope with the things they see during war.

Talk about bizarre.

That is actually really interesting..
