Yeah, I saw this last week. I almost posted it for a laugh too. Think I came across it at C2C site. Surprised?

Nope ... not surprised at all. I check out C2C everyday for mad people photos (as i like to call them). This one though really was worth posting (i just took some time to getting around posting it).

Does the unicorn look a just bit too perfect to you?? And I just loved the way it glides out of view ... very ... anti-gravity :D

I have to say, this does indeed _look_ like a unicorn. I was prepared for something that was obviously a mountain goat. But this is clearly equine. My reservations are: (a) that not even most cryptozoologists claim unicorns are real; (b) that this is not the wilderness -- Switzerland is densely populated and is not a part of the world where one is going to find any new species; and (c) it looks suspiciously like a media stereotype of a unicorn -- white coat, well groomed, etc. My best guess is that this is a mountain goat (steinbock) caught from a weird angle, or, less likely, some kind of wild pony? But how would a pony -- let alone a supposedly equine unicorn -- get to that high inaccessible ridge? Only a mountain goat is equipped for that. That is not habitat for wild equine species.

I know unicorns are meant to be magical creatures but how on earth did it get up there??? Helicopter ??? Elevator ???? Roc ???? Wishful thinking ???

And the way it just glides across a seriously FLAT piece of ground on a rocky mountainside ... sorry ... it just screams CGI to me.

Its almost as bad as the drones stuff ... but then again (astonishingly) a lot of people thought they were real as well.

Sorry, can't resist coming out of "lurker mode" to comment...besides what was already mentioned...the obvious clue is the shadow...didn't have to look any farther...the light source is different from the rest of the scene and it doesn't follow the ground contour when the animal moves, especially right before the animal walks "behind" the tree. Light source and reflections...always the first place to look.

And its far too shiny as well ... its got an unnatural sheen to its coat like its been using far too much Pantene Pro V or something :D
