I think Iran has no chance in a ground war or air war against the States or Europe. It will not be quick, but could last months if not years. However China and Russia are voicing their opinions more recently, they don't want any Western attacks on Iran and Syria. And might even militarily intervene, if it does happen. Its a crazy thought, but humans do crazy things. Less than 70 years ago their was a World War and how many wars has their been since then? And how close have we come to nuclear engagement on a global scale. Roughly five times it nearly happened, so don't think the worse can't happen it can.
