I think it is obvious that L.M.H. was chosen by AFOSI, and not just Doty acting independently as some might laughably suggest, to test her reactions and to no doubt inject this story into the UFO community. AFOSI continues to run operations like this on the UFO community as evidenced by Nick Redfern's dealings with them in the creation of his new book. Pop UFO mythology is written and controlled by these guys. Isn't it obvious? Think about that for a minute. Everything we think we know about aliens and UFOs has been written or otherwise controlled and manipulated by a military organization or organizations tasked with guiding public opinion about UFOs. And it should be obvious that AFOSI, and not just a rouge agent, is neck deep in it. Think about what that actually means.

L.M.H. seems to take it all as gospel (pardon the pun) and doesn't seem to give serious consideration to the fact that she was the subject of a counter-intelligence operation and therefore what she was being "fed" was just what they wanted her to believe and not the truth. It amazes me.
