Making that which is old special, is to ignore what God may send you in your present. So far as the distance you look back, you won't move forward. If your bible has no dust on it, make sure it has it in the future. We've came along way. Well, those of us who aren't stuck in 2000 yrs ago.

John Lennon saw a UFO in New York on my 2nd birthday. I thought that was pretty cool. I wouldn't piss in the Pope's ear if his brain was on fire. I think the Catholic church is trying desperately to maintain the illusion of relevance these days. They have done enough damage to humanity. If an earthquake swallowed the Vatican, I would breathe a sigh of relief.

Really Kevin? Oh God please don't get me started! Trust me, I could say much, much,much more about Catholicism or any other religion for that matter. But you are apparently a Catholic so I'm not gonna tear you to pieces here on an open forum.

I'm still amazed at the fact that after all these years, people continue to create a story about something that never happened.

Did anyone ever actually bother to listen to Lennon when he said he was misquoted? He NEVER said that they were bigger then Jesus Christ. the whole thing was a bunch of BS over nothing.

Lennon in his original statement had expressed astonishment that many of the young people of the day held the them in higher esteem the Jesus, he was expressing his feelings with regards to the insanity of the music business and the whole fame factor taking into account that they were at that time more famous then any group of entertainers had ever been in history, before them nobody had ever seen the kind of hysteria that they brought about.

I am an equal opportunity offender against all religions. They are all flawed (with a few possible, rare exceptions). One day humanity will discover it's true place in Nature, declare the personal and collective Sovereignty that is our birthright, and there will be no more need for fairytales or false authority. Then we can begin to build the Kingdom of Heaven right here in our own backyards.

I could care less who won the election, they are all the same people anyway, controlled by the same mega-corporations.

I was referring to the anti-religious bigots. Which are usually liberals, cause they love to disguise their bigotry.

Imagine if I said, "I hate all Spanish people, because they discovered America killed lots of indigiounis people around the world, etc. etc."

"All Spanish people should be done away with to leave room for people I agree with, White people from England are the only right ones!"

Now, change the word Spanish, with any religion and White people to
atheisim etc. see how bigoted the statement still is.

That was one of the worst analogies I've ever read. You also assumed that I'm an Athiest. Did I ever say that??? No of course I didn't because I'm not. I believe in an greater intelligence, just not the petty, jealous, spoiled, vindictive child God religions sell us. Religion was created by men. It was made up. Purgatory, The Rapture, The Devil, 73 virgins, monsters coming out of the sea, No sexy time, no rubbing one out, all made up.

I am anti-religion, but I don't Necessarily hate religious people. My entire family except for my sister are devout Mormons. Some have even gone on missions. I know many great and wonderful people who are deeply religious and we all get along nicely.

Oh here we go, UBER calling me a commie now? True Communism cannot exist, its against human nature. Communist countries are police states. They actually have nothing to do with Communism. You say the commies are "godless", but just look around at what all the god fearing folk have done. Whether Muslim, Christian, Jew, Morman, its all the same. Your post is amusing.

Ignorance is the absence of knowledge. Religion requires worship and servitude. Neither of which define me in any shape or form. The Christian doctrines are not GODS law, they are rules made up by men to control other men. Please go to a library and read a different book.
