...that I posted this here, my new website which went live about 7pm tonight. I'm still uploading to it, but the main stuff is all in place. I got a TON of stuff I'll be uploading all this week and next. The blog has also resurfaced there, and the podcast will be hosted on site as well. I made sure the news section contained the links for the current Paracast show too. ;)

Bookmarked it too, Jeff. Looks to be very informative and a welcome addition to this site. Thanks!

Jeff,

I looked, but couldn't find the Martian Muffin Mix pictures on your site.

Where are theyz? Can We'z add cheeze?

Where are the pictures of John Lear?

Where is the SUN?

Looks like a nicely done, well organized site. It's hard to beat the awesomeness of having your own little property for personal explorations.

What CMS is that you're using, and also (the Gene question :) ) what web host is that... I looked up the nameservers and couldn't tell!

I am presently building with Drupal and am in freakin LOVE with it... for the most part. That looks like a pretty good one too, and seems to be a very fitting structure for what you seem to be planning. That photo gallery functionality is fantastic!

May The Force be with it... it looks like a worthwhile undertaking.

Is the CMS Drupal? Heard great things about it. My buddy is urging me to learn this. I was going to ask Jeff, but thought that would be to nerdy. I used to do web design back in the day—my how things have changed.

Nope, all done in notepad.

Hehehe, actually it's SquareSpace. It's a brilliant thing for someone like me with no time to deal with a typical website's bullshit. Clean, functional, and totally customizable to exactly the design I had in my head...just what I wanted. Oh yeah....in about 5 hours. I can host the podcast there and just drop it on. Same with video. It's crazy good.

You're probably way ahead of me on this, but I suspect you'll probably need to enable some kind of spam filter soon, unless there's something in the background I don't see.

I kind of like what UFOMystic has done, where you have to register to comment. If you have that kind of utility available, that might make the job of moderating comments easier. Though I noticed the "Password stored as text" note, which makes me think registering might not be all that secure.

Ah, the internet.
