That's a great post, and aside from his one demand that everyone be tortured until they learn English, I completely agree with everything he's saying. Good find, and thanks for posting it here!

Thanks David. I did miss the part where he suggests using "torture" as a "stimulus" to learning English ... but kicking that around a bit ... living here in Los Angeles ... that just might not be too bad an idea. I think back on my own family ... especially the ones who came here from Germany around the time of the Revolution, and when they decided to stay made it a priority to learn the language. Geeze, imagine that ... you move to an English speaking nation and have to learn the language. How fucking lame is that?

I encourage people to read the works of Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Paine. Our founding fathers were NOT as stupid as people believe, and by no means were they the Neville Chamberlains of this world.

What outrages me, is hearing how our founding fathers are marginalized by the ultra-liberal-socialist left.

I wish we had our modern counterpart to George Washington today. Instead, we have the best government Chinese Money can buy.

Sad really.

I enjoyed the vid, but disagree with some of the immigrant stuff. I've read horror stories about how the English raped this land at least. Indians coulda considered us aliens... All men created equal, left out women and blacks. Our founding father's were far from perfect. Sad to see them appear sane in contrast to today though. Well, almost.

Again, much of the vid I enjoyed and is worthy of sharing with others. I'm doing so now actually. Or trying too, they are watching the Apprentice and won't come see the vid atm lol.

Tommy, I'm squarely in the camp that you call ultra-liberal-socialist-left, and I don't even vaguely marginalize the founding fathers, so get a grip. When you say stuff like that, you play right into the game that's being waged by the monied powers, the ridiculous ploy of turning people against one another via partisan politics. It's a class war, man, always has been, always will be. The partisan polarization is designed to make you forget who is really screwing us, the little people, over a barrel. Keep some perspective.

No David, you don't fall into the Ultra-Liberal Communist Left.

I don't consider myself to be anything but a guy who has a VERY good grip of knowing what is right and wrong, and knows betrayal when I see it. I don't take kindly to brainwashing, or the lies of people who want me to give up my rights and freedoms so they can sleep at night.

I love freedom more than anyone who screams we need to put controls on everything and everyone.

I've been called all manner of names, but here's the thing. I'm not a citizen of the world. That's just code for being a fucking slave. Equality at birth is one thing, but we all know that we're not all created equal. Some of us are smarter than others, some of us aren't cowards, and some of us don't want other people to give up their rights, or wealth for the benefit of others who simply cannot, or will not adapt to an ever changing world where an elite few seek to enslave the weak many.

I'll tell you when you're in the camp of the ultra-liberal Communist Left.

Until then, don't beat yourself up.

I agreed with most of what is said there, with the exception of the call for "Universal Service" as I cannot and will not serve a system that I believe is failed.

I say that knowing full-well that there are thousands of wonderful people in the military who are patriots. I am a fairly aggressive guy when provoked, I'm a martial artist, and I am not someone who is afraid of a physical confrontation. I am just not willing to assist a system that is failed. If we ever get this turned around, I have no doubt I would like to serve my country as I understand the need to protect America.

Also, this is what our current administration is calling for and based on the people in this admin and what they have done already I will not help them in any way. Chief of Staff Rahm Emanual has stated this as a personal goal of his and he is a deeply disturbing man on the level of a Cheney or Rumsfield. His father was a literal terrorist and the fruit does not fall far from the tree in this case.

It is a good and useful video overall, just that sticks out to me like a sore thumb.

BTW, for what it is worth, I don't consider you a "socialist" David, just someone who has more Liberal leanings. There is nothing wrong with that, though I do not share those social views as I am more a Libertarian/Constitutionalist with moderate conservative views.

I'll be 34 tommorow, still don't know how to label myself politically. If pushed, and pushed, and pushed, I say I dunno, then I might offer up the label of "independent". Perhaps radical. I smelt shit in each camp I usually see offered up. I don't need a party in order to have fun.

Independent is cool. I am one as well currently in terms of what I am “registered” as. I switched to Republican so I could vote for Ron Paul in the PA primaries, but I don’t at all support that party. The “Neo-Cons” disgust me and I am ashamed of them. I needed to vote that so I could vote for my guy though in my state. I switched back to indy after until further notice (a person worth supporting in an election that I need to "switch" to to support them)

I vote for and support the people who are against what I am for. Simply put that is those who support American principal and are against globalization. While I voted for Ron Paul, I also donated to Dennis Kuchinch and Mike Gravel. I also supported Chuck Baldwin, Ralph Nader, and Cynthia McKinney as well. Do I agree with most of them? No. Do I respect them for not being part of a false choice of WWE style right vs. left fake politics? Yes.

I think you have the right idea in general.

Happy birthday.

Agreed... I don't care to be anyone's storm trooper. And further, I don't see it being a matter of a "failed" system, as it is an intentionally abused system under totally false pretenses... which takes it from "failed" to evil for me.

Kind of semantics and maybe a "softball" term used by myself, so I agree. I just don't think the MAJORITY of our military is evil, but those who set policy are indeed evil and un-American in principal.

You have to be of their party to vote for them in Primaries? I didn't know that. Sad. Or maybe I was taught it, and fell asleep in school etc.

I don't consider myself an expert on politics btw. So my comments are coming from someone who views it much as much as I've watched the Springer show etc. It's a lot alike from what I can tell.

Thanks for the reply, and the happy Birthday Cotton.

Too bad Ron didn't make it. I liked him too.

In PA you have to be part of the party to vote. I felt "dirty" being a Republican, knowing what that part has become, a bunch of Trotskites, but Ron Paul was not like them so I did.

They would have killed him if he won. Then their would have been the 2nd American Revolution over it so he was not put in a postion to be able to win. If the fake GOP would have backed him he would have CLOWNED Obama. We are not all stupid and that is a good sign at least in a rather bleak outlook. There is always hope.

Thank you and happy birthday you as well, Aaron.
