Weird Object in Wichita

Free episodes:

Agreed. I thought it looked like a shuttle it was carrying, duh. ::)

Edited to add: On good advice, It's apparently indeed a bird, NOT any object.

Struck me as a small object up fairly close to the camera. I see how others could say it's the shuttle being carried. I saw that once at school, it was neat.

I didn't immediately think of the shuttle piggy backing a 747. My mind said that it looked like an odd angle of an AWAC. They fly out of McConnell AFB in Wichita.

The left and right stabilizers plus the dish mount make up the width of the top object with the top of the tail rudder just visible.

OR, is it a sleek frog with a jet pack on it back!

To me it looks like a bird ... but I guess that would be too easy. :D

Or maybe I'm one of those people who look at military/black project aircraft and see birds all the time ... :p

Looks like a space shuttle piggy-backed on something. No idea what that something is though. Trouble is there's no context to the photo. Am I looking at this thing from the side? The front? The back? Banking or flying level? Basically it's just another blurry photo answering nothing.

I think we can all generally agree it's terrestrial. Question is WHAT is it? I can't help but wonder if this may be part of that secret space program we often hear of but for which no proof exists.

The bottom appears similar to a B2. Are they known to carry anything??

It's my understanding the B2 can barely lift itself, let alone another aircraft. It's certainly not designed for it at any rate.
