Dear Abris,

Welcome to The Paracast Community Forums!

We welcome you aboard, and hope that you'll have a great time here with our community as well.

Thrilled to be part of the Paracast Community Forum. I've been listening to the show for over a year. The recent episode with, "the twins that shall not be named" propelled my interest in participating in the forum. I am not well educated about the topics covered on the Paracast, and I felt this episode was a call to action. I'd like to stop being a casual lister, and I'd like to educate myself better on these topics. Does anyone have suggestions for credible, well-written books or articles that can help introduce me to some of the topics discussed on the Paracast?

Welcome, Abris! :) My opinion is bias (just like anyone else, some areas interest me more than others), but I highly recommend Stan Gordon's books ( I just finished the first casebook, it's interesting stuff) and the three Missing 411 books by David Paulides. I recently picked up Richard Smoley's book Supernatural: Writings On an Unknown History but I haven't actually read it yet so I can't give an opinion on that one. I found his appearance on the Paracast to be interesting (which is what prompted me to get the book).

I'm sure there are many, many others that the rest of the Paracast community can recommend. I suggest going through the archive, checking out shows that interest you then decide if you might like to pick up their book (if they have one). And you might see the occasional guest or book mentioned in discussions here, which is another great way to introduce yourself to some really good reads.

Glad to see you here! I look forward to chatting with ya in the boards. :D
