Chemtrails: Real or Not?

I've been on the fence for a long time on chemtrails, but not anymore. There is definitely something to the chemtrail story, but I haven't personally seen enough to advocate any coordinated global weather modification or depopulation theory. One thing I am certain of is that contrails used to appear only at higher altitudes and dissipate leaving a relatively blue sky. In more recent years they have been appearing at lower altitudes and spreading out over a relatively longer time into a haze that whitens the sky, sometimes so much so that it's a misty blue-white rather than sky blue.

It's a known fact that during the grounding of aircraft after 911 the sky did clear a measurable amount. What I haven't been able to determine is whether or not these chemtrails are a local project like cloud salting to prevent hail ( which has been going on for decades ) or something else. The more I look into it and watch the sky the more convinced I am becoming that there is more to the chemtrail story than the skeptics will admit.

On a sidecar note, one thing the global warming crowd never mention is the effect of normal contrails on the greenhouse effect. Water vapor is a far more efficient greenhouse gas than CO2 and these jets are delivering millions of tons of water and CO2 directly into the upper atmosphere around the entire planet.

Weather modification has been a topic of study and experimentation, but does that really equate to a war on global warming and/or population control? In your link above we see a mention of Project Stormfury. Like I said before, these things have been going on for years. So on that we agree. What we don't know with certainty is where those kinds of experiments and/or applications end and some secret projects begin, and exactly what those secret projects are for, and how are they impacting our health and the environment.

One of the more plausible theories I have heard is that persistence of contrails is due to some relatively new substance added to the jet fuel itself. Dunno...But I think the opinions of a couple dozen career turbine pilots on this issue might be interesting. Since these guys tend to talk only to other pilots about such things, polling might be a challenge.

In a nuclear war our enemies would detonate a nuke in the ionosphere to disrupt our communications. HAARP is used to excite the ionosphere in a manner similar to a high altitude nuclear burst. Air Force engineers develop methods of communicating through the noise using VLF. Before HAARP the aurora borealis was used to simulate the high altitude burst so engineers were limited as to when and where they could do their experiments. That is reason enough for the secrecy and security.

I know Branson is trying out vegetable oil, and that other fuel studies are being done to reduce contrail emissions.

I was thinking chemtrails might be an unintended consequence of fiddling with formulations to optimize normal fuel. Or, such additives could be a back door means of introducing certain substances into the stratosphere on behalf of third party interests. Of course, it goes without saying that strong photographic evidence of aircraft specially fitted out for the purpose of spraying weird things at high altitudes would be a kind of smoking gun.

In that video I posted, there is a short segment showing of some kind of nozzle under an aircraft wing releasing something. I've seen these debunked in other videos by skeptics who say the part isn't a nozzle, however this video, which I've not seen before, sure seems to indicate otherwise. Maybe it's actually a video of a skywriting plane leaving a smoke trail. I don't know. But I have no doubt that something more than the classic clean contrails we used to see growing up is all that is up there. Whether it's the formulation of fuel or released from a separate tank isn't really relevant to the issue. It's the result of whatever it is they're doing, and the more we try to find answers, the murkier is seems to get.
