Well it is seven days until the hype is all over so I have to ask is anyone doing anything special for the 21st?

For me we are doing a little "End of the world" drinks and BBQ for a few laughs.

Nothing is going to happen, but if some thing happens to take place well I will go out with a full tummy and a glass of signal malt scotch in my hand :D

Choice of music for the end of the world? well Floyd and the Doors sound about right.

I have some Jackson Browne around here in the collection some place.. maybe on LP as I am not sure I have seen it on CD.
Between myself and the wife we have a ridiculously huge music collection, but we are both working musicians so that makes sense.
Oh and by ridiculously huge I mean we top out around 1500 CD's and a few hundred LPs .. I still have hundreds of tapes as well LOL!!!
But hey this is right off topic.

Hmmm but then again making a playlist up for the 21st could be a bit of fun.

That's pretty cool ... I recently dragged my old record player out of storage and coaxed it back to life. I've enjoying some old favorites I haven't seen on CD. I even found an old Foghat record that hadn't even been opened ( Fool For the City ) !

Oh BTW ... good call on Eve of Destruction ! I've been trying to avoid "End of The World As We Know It" for as long as possible !
 
I will be missing my brothers annual Solstice party. THIS year is extra special!! It's TEOTWAWKI-Solstice- Harmonic Convergence all rolled up together, so we're calling this one "Nuttmageddon" !! We can all wait to see if Cthulu sees its shadow.. or something like that. Be there if you can. :o)
