Part of me is thinking "It's not going to bring the ADL down on them if they just put 'Happy Birthday Adolph' on the cake." but most of me is thinking "How the fuck do people like this still exist?" And with three kids! What's their next kid's name gonna be, "Joe Stalin Campbell"? Why not dump the pretense and call him "Kill-the-Jews-and-Blacks Campbell"?
 
well the kid obviously isn't a skin head. I thought it was a girl.

I'm of mixed mind on such matters. On one hand I think someone should have the right to serve whoever they want. On another hand, I'm a bigot toward bigots sooo....

I liked the Dana Carvey standup where he talks about having a president named Oj. Adolph Peterson, or something like that.
 
All I know is, there's a few kids that will be looking for a name change at the first chance they get. I would wager that these hillbillies will get a Divorce, and the new man in the kids' lives will make short work of that crap.

What disappoints me, is that these poor kids get to live with the idiocy of their parents.
 
Poor little buggers. The fools who named them are probably already filling their minds with prejudice and hatred. Isn't that a form of child abuse? If not, it should be.

The problem is that these kids might suffer the same fate as families of religious delusion. They might grow thinking this is all OK and normal (even though they are getting their ass beat daily, or vice versa). Might even become proud of his name. Hate begets hate.

Seriously, where is the Robin Hood that comes in, ties cement bricks to the parents legs and sends them to a watery grave. And then deposits the kids to, ...... anyone else. OK I don't remember Robin Hood killing, but for Christ sakes, give the kids at least a chance.

Gareth - Its a known fact that there is a worldwide cabal of cake store owners whose sole purpose is to make little kids cry. :D

what gets me is the math thats gone into the choice of names.

how does one weigh up the gratification one presumably gets by exercising your freedom in this outre fasion, against the bloody obvious problems this choice will cause.

Simple: they're assholes. TRUE assholes revel in their asshole-ery, they bathe in it like scented oils. It's a large part of what makes them assholes and not merely jerks, dickweeds or fuckwits. And I can't think of anything that screams "I'm an asshole and I'm proud of it" louder than naming your kid Adolph Hitler...

wonder if they'd turn down someone named "Susan Smith" which is a common name, but shared with some stupid bitch who drowned her kids in SC. Where do they draw their line I wonder. Has to be a non common name of someone who was "evil" or no? I'm guessing Adolf and Hitler aren't too common anymore.

That reminds me. I made a thread about strange names a couple weeks ago I think. Anyone see it? The use of Adolph and/or Hitler in certain countries lead to new name laws lol. In some areas you had Hitler, and even Batman being used as names for kids.
