Hello there, just joined the forum here but I have been listening since the show first started... just haven't felt I had to time to jump in here. Anyway I've had lots of weird experiences that I have been wanting to share with some like-minded people (since most people seem not to care of just think I'm making things up). Anyway I wanted to start with a shorter experience for now.
I hiked on the Appalachian trail for a couple months a few years ago and met this interesting older dude named Owl in Hot Springs, NC. Its one of three towns that the trail actually passes through. He was into music and I'm a musician so we were just talking and he said he was going into Asheville (the hippie capital of NC) to see some live music and asked if I wanted to go. I said I was down and he started driving me towards town. On the way, he suddenly pulled off on a side street saying that he realized he couldn't go since there was something he had to do in Hot Springs. He pulled up to this house and said that his friend lived there and he would take me. I was kind of weirded out because of how sudden he said all of this but he introduced me to his friend (whose name I forget) and I got a good vibe off him so I relaxed.
Owl left and his friend invited me inside before we left. His house was crazy, he designed and built it himself and it was almost all glass. It was one huge room with a loft. We left and checked out some good music at a couple different spots, danced our asses off, and about four hours later went back to his house. He said he would drive me back to Hot Springs in the morning and that I could stay at his house.
At this point we smoked a little herb. I was high but I wasn't really high, you can use the influence of drugs to discount this experience if you want but I know what I experienced... Anyway, we were talking and he started telling me about what he called white helicoptors. He said they were the opposite of black helicoptors because he would hear them and even feel the air blowing on him as if they were right above him but could never see them. He said, "it sounds crazy but sometimes when I talk about them or think about them they show up shortly after." I thought it sounded interesting but didn't give it a lot of credence. He went up into the loft to go to sleep and I laid down on a futon to go to sleep. I was still kind of amped up and couldn't sleep and was just lying there thinking. Suddenly I heard the sound of a helicopter and it started getting really loud. The house had a solid roof but half the walls were glass panels going up twenty foot high and it was all shaking. I felt like my body was shaking, I got up and started yelling to him but he wouldn't wake up, and I was yelling pretty loud. I was looking outside and the skies were totally clear but I couldn't see anything. The sound started to go away and then it was gone, it was probably only there for 30 seconds. I was shaken but lied back down and fell asleep almost immediately (which was weird). I told him about it in the morning and he said I'm not the first person besides him to experience this at his house. He was kind of disturbed that he slept through it.
I don't really have an interpretation of this, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. It seemed extra weird because I ended up at this dude's house so randomly. I know some abductees talk about the sound of really loud vibrations and not sure if there is a connection. I don't identify as an abductee although I have had some experiences that share a lot of similarities. I'll share more in the coming weeks as I have time... I'm looking forward to writing a lot of this stuff down to get a different perspective on things... thanks for reading!
