where do I look for the info

Skilled Investigator
In the late 70 `s early 80`s , my mother and brother were walking down a well lit and busy street. They `saw` something, and reported it to our local military camp. They were interviewed by two people, but they never heard anything further about it. I was a situation that I long forgot about - but remembered it after listening to these shows. Since my mother has passed away, I can`t ask her and my brother still remembers me being the one saying `` You guys, are nuts``....so he doesnt talk about it.
But, I was curious as to where I would find out that information.

I live in Canada and have no idea where to turn, as the incident was so long ago.

You could start here...Introduction - Canada's UFOs: The Search for the Unknown - Library and Archives Canada

It's the official site for released UFO report documents. Not as extensive as the UK releases, but at least they are free.

The files are not in order so it is best to pick a date and then look at documents going forward. It is a hit and miss system. Many files/documents have no date listed in the search data.

Just curious, what city was the sighting.

You need to narrow the timeframe a bit. You can try corresponding with the local paper/s about reports or hit the nearest University library and look at the local/regional papers in a microfiche archive if available. Frankly it's gonna take some time and effort. You might be better served by presenting your more open minded side to your brother and getting him to talk about it.

Good Luck!
