I will be glad to do that.

Chris, that crop formation was NOT made by hoaxers but by the actual real crop circle makers themselves. All complex crop circles are made by human beings. Therefore the term "hoax crop circle" could only apply if the crop circle was made by crop circle researchers attempting to pass it off as being made by "non-humans." Real crop circle makers do not make any such claims about the circles they make.

There seems to be an increase in the friction between the makers and the researchers that I think has generated a few of these irreverent types of circles recently. It seems to be a The jokes on you! type of message to the researchers.
 
Personally I think the pipe needs a bit of work. It would have been much better if they had made an alien head taking a hit off of one of Ackroyd's crystal head skull bongs.

I showed it to my facebook friends, and one of them said, "First thing to do when the Lizard Overlords invade: Hide the weed."

A skull bong would be funny, but maybe a little hard to render and recognise as such. ^_^
