Why dont remote viewers check out classified sites?

Nothin' to see here
Serious question. Im listening to an early 06 Paracast episode on OBE's and theyre discussing remote viewing too. So has there been mention or research into remote viewers checking out hangers at Area 51 or somewhere similar in the history of Ufology?

That's a great question, I've wondered the same thing as well. Every interview on that subject has always had some sort of controlled element to what they looked at. Which in itself would be fine but it certainly leaves me skeptical to say the least if it's never substantiated with any solid evidence. I would love to have a remote viewer interviewed here and have David and Gene play guess what the hell is on my frik'n desk with them. I can certainly find the theory believable but much like psychics I'm yet to be wowed.

I have a RV friend who was part of the Stargate program. I will send him an email about the area 51 question.

That would be great, thanks. Not just Area 51, but all military bases too.

Ally that sounds cool,,,, how can any of it be substantiated? I'm not doubting his abilities it's just that no one here can validate what is being said to be in any building out there. Can you share any of your friends RV sessions that can be proved by you? Any chance of this person interviewing here?

I will ask him but by how he responded to my first two questions I doubt he would want to do this,

I sent him an email last night about the area 51 and other military bases and his response was no and this sounds like something a govt agent would ask. He also said who would be stupid enough to anwer this question anyway.

He has told me a few things about some of his sessions but I would rather not speak for him. I will ask him to sign up fo the forum.

If he is the real deal, I can certainly respect those answers. "With great power, comes great responsibility". I do hope he joins up here and I also hope he is treated with respect especially by the skeptics.

Im sure he knows how forums work but maybe if he understands the anonymity he might be more inclined to talk about stuff.

In all seriousnous, I suspect that the military has a way of baffling remote viewers who try this. There are probably scramblers of some sort. Or, remote viewing guards who can sense incoming RV and go on the attack.

Some RV guys will tell you that there is no way for different viewers to affect each other; that they used to pass enemy RV presences and even recognize them. Maybe. I find this likely to be NDA style cover-ups. There are ways to harm or trap astral entities.

So, my estimate is that if you want to try RV, fine. But, unless you think you're mister super sleuth, don't immidiately go after restricted government facilities or ufos. You can try if you want, but...

Go look at interesting things to start with, like the face on Mars.

Great point... Surely they can RV Mars and the far side of the Moon? Put those bases on the Moon rumours to rest.

I'm sure they have in great detail. They are undoubtedly using information gained in this way to inform tactics, but they need physical corroberation (sp?) to confirm it.

Of course, secret groups in the govt using RV might well firewall off their results and parcel it out on a need to know basis.

Joe MacMoneagle's books are a great read. He was tasked with RVing a secret base in Russia where an enormous submarine was being built. Fascinating read, but I'm not sure it proves anything.

I asked (for my birthday) for Ingo Swann's book on his remote viewing experiences. Too pricey for me to consider a purchase in which I couldn't establish some great importance. LOL

It was worth the price, as far as I'm concerned. If he didn't RV the moon, it was one of the best stories I've ever read anyway. Had me biting a fingernail.

I lost a lot of interest in him after he put out "The Ultimate Time Machine" in the late 90's which predicted many things for the next millenium. I was really interested in reading it till I realized he never saw Sept 11th or the US invasion of Iraq. Writing a book of predictions is a very, very good way of destroying your reputation....unless of course we're talking about ufology or the paranormal/psi field. And we are so it's okay.

About the secret sites, well I am doubtful there are that many good RV'ers out there. How can they quiet their minds enough to view when they're so busy with book deals and planning the next weekend training seminar? ;)
But seriously, maybe they do target secret facilities sometimes, and maybe they actually do view them but just don't find anything that interesting.

I astrally projected myself to the moon once and had vanilla ice cream with John Lear at a parlor located at the bottom of a large crater.

What? Everybody knows that the best ice cream in the system is at "Cydonian Scoops" on the upper lip of the Face on Mars. I astrally projected there once with Bruce Goldberg and had a waffelcone full of Strieber-berry Swirl.

Ally, Swann reports his RVing the moon in his book Penetration, The Question of Extraterrestrial and Human Telepathy published in Nov. 1998. It was reprinted in 2000, but the books have been hard to come by since that time.

It's been a while since I read it and my memory can be dodgy, but he was to have RVed the back side of the moon and found a large mining operation. He goes into greater detail than I can even hope, but the session was relatively brief because he saw what appeared to be human men, wearing little or no clothing, and no means of breathing apparatus, outside the mine. (Pretty fantastic, I know. I'm just reporting.)

But he realized that the men (what appeared to be men, anyway) quickly realized they were being watched remotely and began to look up toward the vantage point from which Swann was viewing them. He became very afraid they were going to psychically discover just who he was. Scared him enough to end the session abruptly though there seem to have been no repercussions. I've heard another RVer vouch for Swann's story with his own RV attempt at the time. but the story is worth only the time you're willing to give it.

The book is a great read, whether one can believe all he relates or not. I guess I hold it at arm's length all the while I'm mesmerized by what he may have been able to accomplish. The book's moon episode is one brief story amongst many that are fascinating. If it's fiction, it's really good fiction.

You can go to Swann's site here:

It looks like he both sells stuff and puts a lot up for free.

There's another place where someone tried to put all his free info together, but doesn't look as updated as Swann's site. It's here
