The son of "Old Blue Eyes" died on Wednesday.

He went by Frank Sinatra Jr. although he wasn't a "Junior." His middle name was Wayne.

Still, he had a decent career even though he started after his dad's musical style had become a little dated.

I've never been a fan of Big Band music, of which to me, Sinatra personified. Still, I totally see he had charisma in bags and would likely have been successful and popular whatever he chose to do in life. I've seen a couple of movies Frank did and I think he was actually a great actor. But I'll freely admit that years ago, on a naval visit to New York, I, along with most of the ship, would sing along to Frank's 'Theme from New York, New York.' You can't beat that ole line, 'Start spreading the news...'
