I don't really see the connection with typical secret society cult style ceremonies and ones ability to take over the world...

Even in a hypothetical situation, where you could prove that indeed lots of powerdful people were a lot of devil worshippers, where is the big conspiracy? Where are all the dots that so easily connect this all up?

I dare say that many folks nowadays see god worship and ceremony of any description as heretical, does that mean that christians or muslims should never be given any powerful roles in society?

While I appreciate that not every conspiracy theorist directly listens to people like David Icke, it is him and crackpots like him that spread these evidence lacking conspiracies. They are especially talented in getting people to believe things without questioning anything, sort of like, i dunno, a secret society cult perhaps? :
