I've been waiting for nanotechnology to rare its head in this topic.
- and am surprised no one has started using it more publicly to explain the materials found in Roswell.
We are probably at the trough of this technology right now, and there is difficulties with getting the political/environmental legislation with it - especially FDA approval in the pharmaceutical section of the economy.
But once it takes off - I predict it's going to be another tech boom - the nano boom!! Start selecting companies now, to stand your chance of making the first $billion.
Avoid businesses with high levels of western exposure and weak manufacturing output and crushing regulations which is going to retard innovation and bust the business plan - look at emerging / leading economies, with established manufacturing, less legal restrictions (not always proportional to political restrictions) with a competively educated workforce to stand a greater chance of success.
