This makes me wonder how well China is really doing at suppressing knowledge propagated on the Internet the way their state policy dictates. I know the penalties are high, but with that many users they must have the entire range of information, from "western" ideals to topics of religion and free speech, there. I doubt that even an entity as oppressive and large as the Chinese government can monitor all of that.
