Wow. First you think it's jets stacked up for landing...then WOW!!

Free episodes:

This is not the first upload of this video but it's still an interesting video and deserves to be seen. In a previous upload of this someone provided a translation of what was being said in the comments section- wish I could find that one.

Interesting. When was the last time you saw planes flying in formation at night? Aerobatic teams aren't really known for nightflights.

Couldn't it just as easily have been military? I certainly can't say I saw the lights "attaching" to anything. I saw what looks a shaky camera filming planes at night moving partially in unison and partially not. There was one light that left early on, but that was the only unusual thing I saw (and even that moved like a plane from what I could tell).

Here is a link to what I think is the original posting of the video by the guy who filmed it. If you read the comments someone mentions that they think it is the French Aerobatic Team.
"That is the french national aerobatic team... They fly 8 aircraft in similar formations (note the 2 solo's break away). They also have a bright nose light on the front of the aircraft."
And the person who uploaded the video says "You have to know that military jets were performing acrobatics in the area that night."

It turns out the person who posted the above video is not the person who filmed it. He just uploaded it youtube. Here's a translated report from the local paper about the sighting that seems to suggest there was no military aircraft in the area on the night this was filmed. There are a ton of comments accompanying the article as well.

BINGO! We have a winner. Thanks for that post.
You should see my link to the article in the local paper. They contacted the military who said there were no aircraft in the area on the Friday the video was made. "The officer was categorical: No flight Friday evening." There are also a ton of comments left for the article. Here is a link to the translated article (I noticed I forgot to include it):
