Well, for the record this is what Nick says about this:

Maybe he deserves to be cut some slack here. Everyone needs to make a living, and Nick is one of a very few who has managed to carve out a successful second career in the media with this notoriously "no-money-in-that-shit" field. You can be pretty confident that if Nick is involved in it, the conclusion is not going to be the triumph of debunkerism - i.e. the Orford Ness Lighthouse or other nonsense, whatever other flaky stuff might be thrown into the pot in the cause of entertainment and ratings.
 
When I was looking into the background of that thread, the psychic raised a great red flag. There's a history of self-claimed psychics seeking to attach themselves to real tragedies. They make claims that they helped to find the dead or murderers. It's a cynical way to lend credibility by association to police or news stories. On her website, she's done the same thing. One of the cases she's claiming to investigate is Madeleine McCann. She hasn't even spelt the kid's name right. It somehow dehumanises the girl's disappearance and reduces her to a business lure on a website.

I checked out the backgrounds of all those involved and couldn't discover anything that lends them credibility.

Sure, people have a right to earn a living and it's not like ufology isn't already a bad circus. At the same time, it's only fair game that those who care are warned about the chaff and BS in the field.
