Welcome to Dark Matters Radio! Okay, so I know you are asking “Like, wus up Don?” Okay, here it is … Week 38 my better half was back on the East Coast and while she was gone she left me with a present … one raging virus/cold! And Brother .. I was down. I called up CyberstationUSA and told them I was so bloody sick I was not sure when I could recover enough to do a live show. Man, get that FLU shot! Week 39 rolled around and Monday Richie Sarradet and I did kind of a re-cap .. then adversity struck again. Some tech problems with my laptop. However I hope to hear very soon that my desktop system is ready to be picked up. So Tuesday and Weds. of Week 39 we did a couple of best-of shows featuring Louis Jarvis and Acharya S. Now, after almost 9 months of begging and pleading I convinced my wife (the former Exec. Editor and Founder of UFO Magazine) to appear on Dark Matters. All the feedback I have received has been more than positive! I asked her when she might be back and she told me to get back to her in a year or so! Richie and I closed up the week on Friday evening.
Week 40 rolled around and I snagged Video Dave Aaron, an old friend that for many years ran the UFO Audio and Video Clearinghouse!

Mr. Dave Aaron

When it came to the UFO subject and television and radio if Dave did not have it in his stockpile .. it wasn’t available anywhere! He was The One Stop Shop for everything UFO. Tuesday eve I did a best of with Roswell Producer Mr. Paul Davids. Paul is always a fantastic interview and it is outstanding to find someone in the Hollywood infrastructure that Gets It when it comes to UFOs.
Weds. evening Ms. Rene Barnett is back with us for a new interview. Rene was Co-Producer for Bloodline-The Movie, and she will fill us in on her recent trip back to France, and the tour she led.

Thu. – Friday TBA

I know what you mean, mate. Me and my partner came down with a series of minor ailments right about the same time, only now having recovered. Good to hear that you are ok and ready to leap back into the fray, coz if your in the dark, Dark Matters!

I'm currently more or less recovering from the worst damn flu I ever had..I ever was that sick since I got the chickenpox when I was 6 or 7...10 days more or less bed-ridden. At least no more fever, but that cough hits a smoker double-hard.

Well you all, I finally got my desktop system back from the tech after about two weeks. Seems like along with everything else there was a heat problem (a serious heat problem) that my motherboard was generating. Short story is I had to replace it and they had to re-install Windows which meant they had to re-format my hard drive. Everything ... and I mean everything went By-by.

Well, been re-installing all my programs .. all day long. Still have a bunch of stuff to get on here so the system is back up to snuff and broadcast capable.

Question! I have to migrate my address book off my laptop and get it to my desktop system and I "exported" the damn thing and now can't find the Export file. Does anyone have any ideas where the damn system might have put it? The thing won't tell me! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Don, is that from 'Outlook', Microsoft mail program, or..?

Oh yeah, sorry Sun. It is Outlook Express. Getting everything back up to 100% is a bit of a hassle but when you get dealt lemmons ... gotta think about lemonade.

If you haven't done it already, it is named a '.pst' file. If you're unsure where it's at. 'start--run-- type in '.pst'.

Tried that and it was a "No Go", damnit! Checked everything and can't find the Export file .. no damn place. I ended up making my old address book a text file and am now in the process of manually typing the damn thing in. Some days this damn thing just pisses me off.....
