one-day-maybe
Paranormal Novice
Hi everybody. I was just looking through some of my old UFO books, and I was reminded of a conversation I had about 10 years ago, speaking to an old WW2 Bomber Navigator (now deceased).
Somehow the discussion turned to his WW2 flying days, and he said in all seriousness that, lots of the crews saw 'flying onions' as he, and the crews (British and Canadian) called them. These were round 'balls' of light which followed the planes.
He said that it was commonly thought at the time that they were German secret weapons.
I suppose that these are more commonly known now as 'foo fighters' ???
I just wondered if anyone else had heard the expression 'flying onions'?
Also are there any informative sites on the web with any evidence/information about this phenomena:question: ?
