Anyone considering attending? At this point I can't tell who's speaking at this conference, but since I live so close ( 1 mile ) I thought I would ask. Would be nice to meet some of you guys, or at the very least have a few drinks at the bar—that seems to be the more interesting part.

Even though I've attended the last couple, after looking at the speaker lineup this year, I think I'm gonna miss this one. Spending money to see charlatans spew crap is not on my agenda this year.

Where is it?

Apparently its being held at the Hilton Hotel Gaithersburg ... which is in Gaithersburg, Maryland I think :D.

And the speaker list is a joy to behold. Some names:

Stephen Bassett, Paola Harris, Jeff Peckman, Michael Salla, Alfred Webre, and get this ... you get two whole hours of ... duh duh duhhhhh ...

GEORGE SNOORY!!!!

Oh, and Richard Dolan will be there as well. Nick Pope, Graham Hancock and Ed Mitchell as well. But the first lot of names are more exciting don't you think? :D

There are others as well as all these but ... you can find the official site here:

http://www.paradigmresearchgroup.org/X-Conference2009/X-Conference2009.htm

and you can find out for yourself if you dare.

Don't say I didn't warn you :D

Since I have been to a few conferences, if the speakers really suck, the objective is to find good people attending the conference other wise it really isn't worth it.

It's in Maryland. No Thanks.

I wish we had something closer. Like Chicago or here where I live.

I read the guest list. It's a list of losers and failure. There are a couple of names I thought were cool, but the majority are the same assclowns who have kept the truth out of reach for decades.

Peckman... Jesus Christ why?

Wow, those speakers do suck. Jeff Peckman? I might go just to be disruptive. Where do you see these speakers? The xcon site looks like a web page from 1996, black background, white text. That really conveys something legitimate.

What's Paola Harris going to speak about "Jonathen Reed":(:(

I would not mind seeing Dr. Mitchell, and Joe Montaldo

also the debate

but Paola Harris Annoys me so much I would not go just to listen to her screachy voice.

I think it would be interesting to go, but I'd stay in Frederick with my daughter and commute down to save $$$.
Hmm...$290 for the whole shebang. I don't really see anyone on the speaker list that I'd consider worth that, but who knows? Might meet some interesting people attending there.
Oh hell, why not? I've never been to a UFO/X-convention before. I'm going to go.

I shall be attending this. Will be travelling from London and spending the 3 days there for the whole conference. Anyone who is up for meeting up in the bar for drinks and a chat, let me know! It's always a pleasure to meet new people who are interested in this subject.

Hey, I'll be there, but not staying at the hotel, I'll be commuting in.
According to the schedule, there's a break from 1:00 to 1:30. Want to meet up in the Kings Rook restaurant and bar? Send me a private message and we'll figure how to find each other.
