The thing about this character that gets me is if one looks at his voluminous material as pure science fiction, I gotta say it's pretty creative.
And for a guy with his handicap to pull off some of those photo hoaxes at the time when he did, that was pretty inventive.
He was a semi-successful hoaxster (fooled many people at the time) and he is undeniably.... imaginative. He did his thing for many years, I think he probably even believed much of it at one point. But a point came when he began to withdraw from the public light (for many reasons), but his 'cult', the die-hard followers around him wanted to continue the "mission".
Look at him now, the guy has people (you know who in particular) be his cheerleaders, run his organization, collect money from useful idiots around the world and he gets to kick back and run his farm/commune that his cult brought from him. The guy doesn't even have to do anything anymore. On that farm, he is king.
I read somewhere that after more than 40 years of (supposedly) being in 'ufology', he isn't even popularly known in Switzerland. The average Swiss person has never heard of him.
IMO, he is an example of a clever, delusional individual who became an accidental cult leader. Good for him, I say. The only ones who take his words as gospel as the same type of people who would otherwise be part of UNARIUS.
So I say "nay". You are simply a fool if you see his material as much more than science fiction.

Never seen that before. Clonaid guy? Ok, maybe I saw it and blocked it out. Anyway, he strikes me as one who doesn't get laid, that is why he hosts orgies. In hopes that the many who shows up, he can maybe skooot somethin in... If I'm wrong, don't tell me. I've been good about not wanting to blow my head off of late, and don't want that to change atm.
