Super volcanos are bad in the short run. Why our DNA differs so little across the globe has been linked to super volcanos. They blotted out so much sun for so long that we were reduced to a marginal DNA pool thus the similarities. I hope his warning is unjustified.
 
UH... someone needs to check the date, because Saturday is January 3rd, NOT Thursday.
 
Unfortunately from what I have heard such an event has long been described as over due.

I checked the first link on that site at midnight London time, and judging by the frequency of those map reports,things look bad.
I do hope these warnings are being taken very seriously.

This immediately sounds suspicious. Who is this "geologist" anyway?

All I can find is this this guy. Who looks a lot like the guy in a picture on the main page of site you linked to (the one with the kid holding the sign "Sanders Oil"). It's pretty obvious they're the same Chris Sanders.

The site I found lists his education which says nothing of geology...though he says he got a "Doctor of Meta Physical Sciences" from Universal Life Church, Modesto, which probably explains his precognitive powers. If he ends up being right it will be coincidental.

edit: I just found his video that someone else located on Youtube. You should be warned this is a very self-indulgent 8 or 9 minute piece he made. I couldn't stomach it all the way through.

It's a lot like the you tube vid you posted pretty self indulgent and hard to stomach.

I get the feeling that this guy likes attention, which he is no doubt getting, but hey, somethin pretty serious IS goin on in Yellowstone. I would agree that some respectable geologists opinion is warranted.
 
Over on ATS they are soliciting 'questions' to pose to this 'geologist'.

The only question I could think of was: "Were you born an asshole or did it take you years to perfect that persona?"

Knowing the ATS Nazi-mods that question would not get asked...

Woah.....I left this guy a positive comment on his YouTube video for his excellent video parody. He then sent me an email thanking me for not being a 'hater' and it was only then, that I realized, he was being serious!

At this point there is only one thing to do..get Jeremy to make a *real* parody video of this silliness.

I spent a coupla years livin at Yellowstone... 98-99... awesome, awesome place. My Wife's absolute favorite spot is right thare at Yellowstone Lake called Pumis Point. Just kinda neat to see the place gittin all this spotlight now, and seein the thangs I had learned about it durin that time actually comin to some fruition.

An ACTUAL, real deal Geologist I spoke with said that when it blows it tends to send rock debris as far as both Canada and Mexico. Not dust and smoke mind you, but bolders and shit.

Well I keep hoping we'll get the armageddon scenario.

It would mean big changes, and an answer to Global Warming.

I don't think it's genuine concern to film himself with his cat talking about something he obviously hadn't looked into, but which plays nicely with his sensationalist belief in Christianity's Armageddon and "End Times". The he posts it up on the internet. Have you read his stuff and seen what he's into?
He bugs me like New Agers bug me.

Edit: I had to come back and post this. When someone mentioned to this kid that Jan 6th came and went without an eruption he wrote
"No one can know the exact date when it will erupt, but there is a chance it will this year. If not, don't worry, your doom and gloom will come. Joe Biden and Colon Powell "promise" a crisis event on the 21 or 22 of Jan."

I am not familiar with this particular conspiracy theory.
